Key Project Details

The FLNG project, which completed its Pre-FEED stage in early 2024, is designed to produce approximately 3 MTPA of liquefied natural gas. The facility will be stationed about 10 kilometers offshore in water depths of 20 meters, receiving and processing up to 500 million standard cubic feet of natural gas per day (MMscfd).

Wison New Energies will utilize Chart Industries’ proven IPSMR liquefaction technology, ensuring efficient and reliable operation. This mature technology underscores the project's emphasis on innovation and performance.

Integrated Energy Solutions

In addition to the FLNG, the project includes a 230MW Power Barge. Natural gas from the FLNG will be routed to the Power Barge to generate electricity, supporting Ace Gas & LNG’s nearby gas assets and processing facilities within the Escravos and Forcados hub.

This integrated approach reflects a strategic alignment with Nigeria’s growing energy needs and highlights the commitment to enhancing the region’s energy self-sufficiency.

Advancing Towards EPCIC

Wison New Energies emphasizes that the FEED study will play a pivotal role in streamlining project development by providing a comprehensive analysis of technical and economic feasibility. This foundation will be critical as the project progresses to the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Commissioning (EPCIC) phase.

Commitment to Clean Energy

Wison’s commitment to promoting clean energy and sustainability remains steadfast. The company will collaborate closely with partners to ensure the project adheres to the highest standards of efficiency, safety, and quality.

This initiative not only marks a significant milestone in Wison New Energies' portfolio but also reinforces its dedication to delivering customized energy solutions that align with global sustainability goals.

Looking Ahead

As the project advances, the partnership between Wison New Energies and Ace Gas & FLNG will undoubtedly serve as a model for future clean energy initiatives, contributing to the sustainable growth of Nigeria’s energy sector.
